Jared Williams, CISSP
Kon'nichiwa. From New York City to Japan, my love for business and culture has taken me around the world. I’ve lived in Japan for over 10 years, as well as serving on temporary assignments in various locations in the Asia-Pacific region. During my time abroad, I’ve cultivated business partnerships based on mutual respect while learning the language, history and traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun. My love for photography and eye for design aid me as I take in the world around me, assess the needs and preferences of my clients and lead my team to produce culturally relevant, professional and reliable IT systems.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve served as an international cultural and linguistic liaison. I’ve led cross-functional teams and simultaneously managed IT assets across multiple offices in both the U.S. and Japan. I’ve projected long-term departmental vision and led IT professionals to implement strategies for growth. I’ve developed people by facilitating training and seminars, presenting to a range of audiences from public school students to corporate board executives.

Through the years, I’ve steered my departments through times of corporate transition and system mergers while maintaining network security and ensuring the privacy of confidential data. As a consultant, I’ve assessed computer readiness and upgraded systems to the latest compatibility standards, provided troubleshooting and user support, and integrated new software and hardware into existing infrastructures.
